省思
以上這「黃金法則」也實在適用於已被安排進行墮胎手術卻尚在母胎中的嬰兒身上；確實，我們也希望當我們身處險境時，人們也能這樣待我。
我們不需要再忖度可以再冒犯多少人和事，因為我們要做的，便是在任何事上，以希望他人對待我們的方式，去對待他人。
祈禱
天父，藉著這個簡明的法則，祢向我們展示了我們為了捍衛生命，到底要走多遠；求祢賜給我們勇毅，使能捍衛祢的真理。
IN everything, deal with others as you would like them to deal with you.

REFLECTION. The “Golden Rule” applies also when the “others” are unborn children scheduled for abortion. We are to do what we would want others to do if we were in danger.
We can stop wondering how many people we should risk offending, or how many positions we should risk losing. “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.”
PRAYER. Father, in this simple rule, You have shown us how far we need to go in defending human lives. Give us the courage to carry it out.
