讚美天主慈悲，因祂赦免我們的罪、寬恕我們的過犯；讚美祂樂於顯示憐憫。
Praise God for His compassion in pardoning our sins and forgiving our transgressions. Give praise that He delights in showing mercy.

省思
墮胎與死刑相比，有著很大的分別。
死刑是使用行政權力，對有犯錯的人施行罰則，以此懲戒；相反的，墮胎是因著某一個人的權力，毀滅一個無辜的、毫無過錯的嬰兒的生命。
祈禱
天主，求祢保護祢的子民免受傷害；對祢所指派的，來維護我們平安及安全的人，求祢賜給他們力量。
RULERS are a source of fear not to those who do good but rather to those who do evil.

REFLECTION. There is a big difference between abortion on the one hand, and war and capital punishment on the other.
War and capital punishment, when justified, are carried out by the authority of the state to restrain those guilty of doing harm; abortion is always carried out by the authority of an individual to destroy one completely innocent of doing any harm.
PRAYER. Protect Your people from all harm, O Lord, and give Your strength to those You have appointed to preserve our peace and security.
