不可殺人。(出20:13)
省思
天主親自用手指把十誡寫在石板上交給梅瑟，然後透過梅瑟傳給我們。
當中，「不可殺人」指的是不得有意圖地奪走他人無辜的生命，正因為所有的生命皆屬於天主，而天主本身就是生命。
祈禱
天主，不可殺人這誡命確確實實地出自祢的手，刻於石板中，就如天主祢是永恆不變的；求祢賜給我們服從的恩寵。
YOU shall not murder.
—Ex 20:13
REFLECTION.
God’s own finger wrote in stone the commandments He gave to Moses, and through Moses to us.
“You shall not murder” refers to the deliberate act of taking an innocent human life, and is forever prohibited precisely because all life belongs to God, and God is life itself.
PRAYER. Lord, Your prohibition on murder was literally written in stone and is as unchangeable as You are. Give all Your people the gift of obedience.
