願每個人今天，都能為那些在方便的祭台上被犧牲的人，將自己當作活祭獻給天主，獻上全所有。
Pray that we will each submit ourselves this day as a living sacrifice to God, giving all that we have in us for those being sacrificed on the altar of convenience.

省思
在創世紀第二章第七節所描述的，都是天主的自主行為，而祂確實可不必這樣做。
即使我們沒有求，也沒有做什麼以賺得這生命，天主卻從虛無中，帶領我們進入生命，並每時每刻都在供應我們生命中所需。
祈禱
主，求祢教導我們，使我們明白只有一個天主，唯有祢才是生命的主宰，而不是人類主宰生命；求祢使我們時常充滿對祢的敬畏。
THE LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
—Gen 2:7
REFLECTION. The act of creation described in Genesis 2:7 is a sovereign act. God did not have to do it.
Yet without our asking for it or earning it, God brought us out of nothingness and into life, and sustains our existence at every moment.
PRAYER. Lord, teach us the lesson that there is no God but You and that no human being has dominion over life. Fill us with awe in Your presence.
